I think this is VERY important for people to remember.
For me running is about beating my own times, screw what other people can run. I want to destroy my PR’s. The fact that you’re running at all is the important thing. So true, it’s so easy to get obsessed with stats and how fast/far others are running. By being a runner you’re already doing more for yourself than so many others, and as long as you’re becoming a better you (whatever that means for you), you’re a winner.
Very true :) So far my best mile was 11.34, im pretty impressed with that! A mile’s a mile…

Down to 10:54. Progress is progress.
for pre-reason track conditioning.
I need to remember this…especially since a 14-min mile is my bugaboo.
